Jennifer Walters is the President & CEO of The Little River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center. She represents Little River by serving as a member of the Board of the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and the Workforce Investment Board as appointed by the Governor. She is Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bridgewater Academy, the first charter school in Horry County. Jennifer is a Past President and Lt Governor of the Grand Strand Optimist Club where she remains active as editor of the South Carolina District Newsletter. She has also served on the board of directors and is a past president of Theatre of the Republic, Horry County’s community theater.
Jennifer’s professional past includes Area Manager for the American Cancer Society, Executive Director of the USO of Philadelphia, Community Sponsorship Manager, MWR, U.S. Army Fort Dix and Sales and Marketing Representative, Eastman Kodak Company. She attended The University of Kentucky and Paul Smiths College and recently achieved her I.O.M. certification through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Chamber and Association Management at the Southeast Institute of Organizational Management at the University of Georgia. She lives happily in Myrtle Beach with her fiancé Sam and her cat Pita.

Izzy maintains 15 social media accounts & 3+ websites, publishes print & email newsletters, assists with the variety of events we host, and is the go-to for our members' benefits questions. She grew our networking attendance by 27% in just her first two years with us; we can't wait to see what else she has in store!

Teresa works in the office and assists with both customers and bookkeeping and is excited to learn more in her new position. Teresa is available for questions about your invoice on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons or on Friday mornings.
Originally from Ohio, Teresa has lived in the Coastal Carolina area since 2006. After nearly 9 years in banking, she decided to pursue other interests which led her to the Chamber. Teresa holds a BS in marketing from Miami University. She is also a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and recently earned a certification in Plant Based Nutrition through Cornell University online.

Hubert has been the Festival Director for both the World-Famous Blue Crab Festival and Little River ShrimpFest for several years now. For general festival questions, such as dates and times, and vendor applications, please call the Little River Chamber of Commerce office at 843-249-6604.
The chamber is guided by the Board of Directors. These are voluntary positions that are very dedicated to the chamber.

Ambassadors are highly visible, prestigious volunteers who serve as the Chamber’s primary liaison to chamber members. Considered the goodwill arm of the Chamber, Ambassadors play an essential role in member communication and retention, and each Ambassador is charged with conveying member needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff, keeping our Chamber in line with our member’s desires.
Upon their appointment, each Ambassador makes a commitment to build lasting relationships with the Chamber membership, particularly new members, in order to build a loyal, committed membership base that will continue to support, participate in and invest in the Chamber and Little River community.
