Little River ShrimpFest

Volunteers will be needed at the Little River ShrimpFest on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and on Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Volunteers are needed in all areas of the festival including Gate Workers, Souvenir Sales, and Soft Drink and Water Sales. All Volunteers will receive a FREE Limited Edition “Volunteer” T-Shirt featuring this year’s festival logo on a unique T-Shirt color that is Not Available for Sale. Volunteers also receive FREE admission and lunch each day that they are scheduled to work a shift.

Blue Crab Festival

Volunteers needed for a 3 hour shift on May 20 & 21, 2017 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Volunteers are needed in all areas of the festival including Chairpersons, Gate Workers, Souvenir Sales, and Soft Drink and Water Sales. Entertainer

Summit Place of North Myrtle Beach (491 Highway 17, Little River) is seeking musicians and entertainers to perform for their residents about once a month. This is a recurring need with flexible day & time availability.

Guest Speaker

Summit Place of North Myrtle Beach (491 Highway 17, Little River) is looking for Guest Speakers on various topics, such as, showing art collections, talking about travels, small animals (like a nature reserve), crafts, showing quilts and demonstrating/talking about them, antique car clubs to show their vehicles, fashion shows, glamour days, etc. This is a recurring need with flexible day & time availability.

Brochure Inventory

The Little River Chamber of Commerce is seeking 1 - 2 individuals to comb through our brochure & business card display and note which chamber members do not have literature displayed. Volunteer will most likely spend time standing, squatting, walking, or otherwise on their feet. Once member display list is complete, we will need a volunteer to call some members and invite them to display their literature. 

This is an ongoing need, as the task most likely take a full day to complete and our member database is continuously changing. Volunteers needed for at least 1 hour at a time during business hours (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) at our office (1180 Hwy 17 N., Suite 1, Little River, SC 29566).
